  • Cane, which is an incredibly strong, South-East Asian plant—the Rattan Palm.
    Cane is both lightweight, sturdy and relatively less costly alternatives to wooden furniture. Cane's pliable nature produces silhouettes curvaceous and arresting, and they’re an environmentally friendly option too thanks to their fast-growing nature.
  • The best quality Cane comes from Indonesia.
  • What is Buri/Rattan/Wicker?
  • Buri/Wicker or Natural/Indoor Rattan which it is sometimes known as, is the most common palm found in the Philippines. The scientific name of this plant is Corypha Elata Roxb. The Buri plant lives approximately up to more than 30 years. It grows all over the country at low and medium altitudes. It's versatile yet sturdy nature makes it an ideal plant for making the curves found on the peacock chair design.
